Mrs.Preethy Nair started her formal training in Carnatic music and Bharatnatyam at a young age. She is a disciple of Late Smt. T.R. Balamani in Carnatic music. Later on she had her training in Hindustani music from Atit Kumar Pandey, Ankit Kumar Pandey & Amit Kumar Pandey.

She is an Economics graduate from Mumbai University and is currently teaching music at Aadi Shakti Music and Dance Center, Dubai
